Dr. Demis Hassabis -- Dr. Demis Hassabis is the 2024 Nobel prize winner and co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind. A former game designer, he has been in the news for his work on AlphaFold an AI system that can predict the 3D structure of proteins based on their amino acid sequence. This is revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry as well as protein engineering. AlphaFold 2 is an open source program that can be accessed as a web API.

Dr. Lisa Su -- Dr Lisa Su recently testified at a hearing of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation on how the U.S. can preserve its leadership in AI and its vital importance to the country. She is the CEO of AMD a leading manufacturer of semiconductors and GPUs (graphical processing chips). Among her recommendations are to improve AI infrastructure, STEM education, allow immigration of talent from around the world and to adopt open systems where AI is concerned.

Dr. Charles Liang -- Dr. Charles Liang, CEO of AI server manufacturer, Super Micro Systems (stock symbol: SMCI) gave his AI worldview in a fireside chat with Liz Claman, Fox Business News in March of this year. SMCI recently helped build a data center to run Grok, Musk’s version of ChatGPT, in a record 122 days. According to him, the secret sauce of his company is designing plug and play products using energy efficient hardware that will scale up to the task of processing the huge amount of data that AI requires. He foresees the application of AI to be endless.

Salil Parekh – Salil Parekh, the CEO of Infosys, was recently awarded ₹51 Crore Stock Options (close to $6 m USD) by Infosys Board of Directors as per his employment agreement. The CEO has set about addressing concerns of work environment and salary disparities within the ranks.
