About us The Rollingpins

Chef Rani originated from India, the North region known as Punjab. She moved to the UK back in the 70s. Moving from India to the UK was a cultural change involving adopting a new life and way of living. To set the scene Rani came from a background where her father worked in the field of atomic energy (government position) the family constantly moved to different parts of India. India is a large country and each area/city/state has its own culture, beliefs and cuisine. The experience resulted in Rani being exposed to different styles of cooking and use of spices which ignited her passion in culinary arts. She now blends her experience from living many years in Europe with her traditional eastern cooking background to create dishes that are unique.
