This is a course for students looking to prepare a portfolio for college applications. In this course you will learn everything you need to prepare your portfolio.
We will edit and curate the portfolio to meet the requirements of the College you are applying to. These are private classes held online and developed to meet your individual needs.
There are 10 one hour sessions. Times and days will be determined individually.
If you are from a country outside of the US, we can work on a time together that works for both of us.

This is a 5 week course where the students will learn how to make a notched collar, lined jacket. The classes are 3 hours long and require homework between classes.
Students will walk away with an in-depth knowledge of the making and tailoring of a jacket and will make a finished jacket. Pattern’s will be provided or students can provide their own. Students will need to bring their own fabric. Dates and times can be discussed and agreed upon before registering.
You do not need any previous experience. I will teach you how to sew by hand and on the sewing machine. You will learn how to read a pattern, layout the pattern and sew your skirt. You will leave with your own skirt!
You provide the fabric and I will provide the pattern and supplies. Once you register I will need your size and I will let you know how much fabric to buy.

Pajama Workshop- Learn how to make a Pajama bottom . No Skills required! You will learn how to cut out the pattern and sew up your PJ"s on the sewing machine. You will have your choice of a Green or Red Long Sleeve top to go with the bottoms. You can leave it plain or embellish it. Make these for yourself or make it as a gift for someone! Starts at 3:00PM and goes to 7:00 or whenever you are finished.

Are you looking to apply to a Fashion or Art school and need help in preparing a professional portfolio to include with your applications? Most Art schools will require some type of portfolio to be included when you apply.
We offer private sessions where we work with you individually on the development of your portfolio.
Think of the portfolio as a visual resume which is used to express the best of your work that is well edited and curated. Your portfolio is a very important tool that you will use to sell yourself to a prospective school.
Your portfolio should be able to express to the viewer your ideas, aesthetics, vision and who you are as a designer. It should communicate your quality, values and skills.
Individual Classes dates and times will be determined after a consultation. We can schedule these based on your needs and my availability.
12 classes over a 3 month period. (1 class per week x 3 months) This can be adjusted if needed. Each class is one hour. The student will be expected to do the work discussed in the session and have it ready for the next session.
Cost $2500
5-15 day intensive training courses are devoted to creating a garment. These intensives offer classes for specific garments such as couture garments (such as evening wear or a wedding dress). Learn to tailor a coat, jacket or pair of trousers.
