How to make a Tailored Jacket- Menswear or Women’s wear or Unisex. Private Class It is recommended that you have prior sewing skills before taking this class. This is a great class for College students who want to improve their skills. This is a 5 week course where the students will learn how to make a notched collar, lined jacket. The classes are 3 hours long and require homework between classes. Students will walk away with an in-depth knowledge of the making and tailoring of a jacket and will make a finished jacket. Pattern’s will be provided or students can provide their own. Students will need to bring their own fabric. Dates and times can be discussed and agreed upon before registering.
You do not need any previous experience. I will teach you how to sew by hand and on the sewing machine. You will learn how to read a pattern, layout the pattern and sew your skirt. You will leave with your own skirt! You provide the fabric and I will provide the pattern and supplies. Once you register I will need your size and I will let you know how much fabric to buy. Some experience is helpful but not necessary. In this class you will learn how to sew a Bomber Jacket. You provide the fabric and notions such as zippers. Once you register and give me your size you will receive a complete list of the supplies required. This is a 5 week class

4 week online course- Each class is 3 hours long. Students will have an immersive experience as if they were in the classroom. This is for a private lesson. There will be homework between classes. Students will walk away with an in-depth knowledge of the making of a jacket as well as a completed jacket. A download link will be provided for the pattern. Students will need to provide their own fabric, interfacing, threads and buttons. Materials and tools required: Sewing machine, iron, scissors, pins, rulers/tape measures/ fabrics.
This is a course for students looking to prepare a portfolio for college applications. In this course you will learn everything you need to prepare your portfolio. We will edit and curate the portfolio to meet the requirements of the College you are applying to. These are private classes held online and developed to meet your individual needs. There are 10 one hour sessions. Times and days will be determined individually. If you are from a country outside of the US, we can work on a time together that works for both of us.
No previous sewing skills required- you will learn everything you need to know in these classes to make your Schacket
Pajama Workshop- Learn how to make a Pajama bottom . No Skills required! You will learn how to cut out the pattern and sew up your PJ"s on the sewing machine. You will have your choice of a Green or Red Long Sleeve top to go with the bottoms. You can leave it plain or embellish it. Make these for yourself or make it as a gift for someone! Starts at 3:00PM and goes to 7:00 or whenever you are finished.
Work Shop - Learn how to hand sew and machine sew patches, add beading, lace or embroidery to a jacket. The jean or denim jacket is provided in the course.
